Just as the original PATERA, the oval version is based on strict geometrical principles for optimal light distribution and comfort. The Fibonacci pattern is fascinating since it reflects the interplay between light and gravity - in this geometry adopted to an oval shape.
PATERA OVAL is designed to fit perfect in to the space between table and ceiling or in spaces where the ceiling isn’t too high - not demanding to much horizontal space, giving either direct light to the table or filtering it through an optional diffuser.

At the same time I was digging even deeper in to improving the assembly - especially how all the clicks of the blades could be improved - a technical challenge that should remain unseen in the final result”
